·         Put in milk to make yogurt

·         Half Streptococcus thermophilus and half Lactobacillus bulgaricus added to warm milk

·         For sundae style yogurt, place bacteria on bottom, for French-style yogurt place in large heated tank

·         Being replaced by Lactobacillus acidophilus
