This will be an interesting project to do for many reasons. The first is that our virus has an awesome name. Second viruses are awesome. Learning about something amazingly small that still affects our everyday life is going to be intriguing. It will be interesting to see, on a more assignment related topic, how close we will stick to our timeline as I am generally one of those night-beforers. I am sure it will help structure our work to get the project finished on time.
Unfortunately the website somewhat limits our ability for a maximum amount of control over the webpage. The website does not allow many programs which we could use to better enhance our page. Understandably this may be a precaution, but it would also allow more capability for an A+ project. Last night we wrote up a timeline for our project to help us finish in time. We made it general but basically said that we would gather our facts and basics, then afterwards make it pretty and entertaining. I personally think that both parts will be interesting, but making our page something that will pop out for our readers will be the fun part.

Today we started research. Using the Gale Group search aid, I was able to find a couple good sites from which to drag information. I found out that our bacteria exist in milk, preferable old and natural. It is found in yogurt and can help the human immune system, especially in babies. It is said that the bacteria prevents diarrhea, stimulates growth, and can be used to create an antibiotic for children. I also learned that the bacteria is starting to be used in clinics as antibiotics for a broad spectrum of diseases.
I personally dislike having to filter out all the sites, or only use specific ones for information, but as I said, I used Gale Group and typed on l bulgaricus and up came this nice little sight about some of its uses. I think they are very interesting and slightly gross. We were given the bacteria found in rotten milk and prevents diarrhea. I was surprised to find that our bacteria aided growth and protection in babies. I am glad our bacteria is a useful one.

Today we started our research on L-Bulgaricus. We went out to find the first four content needs of the project. I used the Gale Group site once more, only specifically to look for classification, structure, gram stain, and habitat. Like I said previously I found out that this bacteria is found in natural milk. It has a positive gram stain
I am sure this is a plausible sight because it was on our search page. Tonight we will work further into the content to find reproduction systems and the nutritional requirements for our bacteria to thrive.

Tonight we will be finding out how our bacteria reproduces and what the habitat it prefers is. I will first check all the suggested/prepaid websites for the information, but if I get no results I will turn to the free web.
I was able to use encyclopedia Britannica for tonight’s information. I found the temperature our bacteria likes, its reproduction rate and process. Our bacteria doubles in population every 20 minutes. It likes a steady temperature of 90 degrees (F) to do so. I was surprised at how it easy it was this time around, to find the information.

This weekend I was sick and sat in bed much of Friday and some of Saturday. I did however go back through some of the websites I had previously searched and happily found that the research for this weekend was all on the pages I had already taken notes on. I found the uses for humans, beneficial properties, recent discoveries, and interesting facts.
I am looking forward to this coming week where we get to spice our site up. Now that we have our core information, we can mess it around with extras. I am glad the research part is mostly over; it was getting so annoying searching sites. The fun begins.

Today we started work on multimedia. About to start, however, we noticed we had nothing on reproduction, so the long struggle began. We searched and searched until our fingers were sore from typing. Every website lacked the information about how our bacteria had sex. I mean, in this time period, everything is about sex, you'd think this kind of thing would be all over the place.
Disappointed, we went on to try and do something for our page that night, knowing that it would never be the same without its reproduction information.

Today I posted the link about how our bacteria helps our life. Though, in general, it may affect countries which generally don’t use fake ingredients more, Lactobacillus Bulgaricus has a huge impact on our lives. If you eat yogurt, not only are you eating old milk, but you are eating something that has been helped to be made by Lactobacillus Bulgaricus.
Our bacterium also helps with cures and antibiotics. It is used to prevent diarrhea, yeast infection, and treat mild, child illnesses. It is used in many drugs to prevent lactose intolerant, food allergy, and diarrhea.

Today I kept up my research on reproduction. I had many sights catch my attention, but none had our missing information. I decided to brainstorm on how to decorate our sight instead. Trying to think of things like games, jokes, and other fun stuff, I only managed to write a journal entry and ad in some information here and there on the site.
I am getting anxious about our bacteria's sex life. I am worried about its wellbeing and hope it hasn't done anything stupid. I cannot seem to find anything about its reproduction, but the search will continue.

To be honest, I think most of our work is already done. I did what I could to find out how Lactobacillus Bulgaricus reproduce, still came up with nothing. On to multimedia. We are in search of (a) good site(s) to link to our wiki. Wow it is fun to do this(ese).
We found a few websites, nothing amazing. I am starting to draw my own conclusions that our bacteria just is not that popular. There is relatively nothing on his sex life and everyone who is anyone has at least 3 teams trying to find out who they have sex with...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. I DON'T SMELL LIKE (A) MONKEY(S), OR DRESS LIKE ONE EITHER.
Today was my birthday and I did relatively nothing on the site.

Still no sign of our old buddy reproduction. It’s getting late, I'm worried. We searched for the last tidbits and started all the required evals today. I am not looking forward to tomorrow, I am teh uberly stressed.
We got the class eval done today. It was easy enough and I was sure to put in a few questions which would give us a good rating.

Today did self evaluations. I always hate self evaluations because I don't like seeming like a **** when I say I did well, or like I'm dissing myself when I say I have low expectations. I also dislike the ability to have to grade your friend.
I am stressed about getting this project done by 5:00 pm, central, Sunday, 12/16/07. SO STRESSFUL. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHGHGHGHH.
I sent James everything I had for us to turn in, finally done!
